Coffee Mug LOVE HEART red - Ø 7.5 cm

Together with his colleagues Charles & Ray Eames and George Nelson, Alexander Girard was one of the main leading figures in American design during the post-war era. His passion for colours, patterns and textures found expression in the field of textile design, but Girard was also praised for his graphic work and interior design.

Girard brought a touch of playfulness in the design of the twentieth century. In cooperation with the Girard family, Vitra selected the motifs from the extensive collection created by the designer. Some of these motifs were also used on the ‘Coffee Mugs’.
